At the end of 2024, together with other leaders in the construction sector, we were interviewed by "Verslo žinios" portal about how we had fared and what to expect in 2025.
"Gilestta" CEO Romas Paliulis drew attention to several key aspects:
📍 One of the main goals for 2025 is stable growth: "We don't want to make any big leaps, because that involves costs when you have to reorient technologies and processes very quickly."
📍 "Gilesta" has entered the energy infrastructure construction market and received its first order in Germany, where it will implement an energy project for "Vodafone", a subsidiary of the telecommunications company: "I do not rule out the possibility that we will start to focus our construction activities on other European countries";
📍Currently, most orders come from public sector clients: "We see a lot of tenders and fierce competition. I hope that the private sector will gradually pick up. It's not that there are no private clients, but the public sector dominates."
